This guide will walk you through the initial steps of creating an account using Anchor iOS. Once complete, you will have an account available to use with your network of choice.
Step 1 Add Account This is the first screen you will see after you install Anchor on iOS
To proceed, press “Add Account” | ![]() |
Step 2Create AccountPress "Create Account" to continue | ![]() |
Step3 Select Account Type You can select a free account or purchase an account For the free account, you will need to install MetaMask, the EOS Wallet Snap, and then enter your social media credentials which will get you one account For the purchasable account, there's nothing more to download and you can create as many accounts as you would like Press "Purchase Account" to continue | ![]() |
Step 4 Select Token Here you can select from a multitude of Antelope-based networks, such as Vaulta, WAX, and Telos
For today’s example, we will be selecting “Vaulta Account” | ![]() |
Step 5 Account Name This is where you will select your account name. You can create a name of your own or let “Random Name” select one for you
- Will include “.gm” at the end - Names with particular words will not be created Once a name has been created, select “Next” | ![]() |
Step 6 Confirm Information This screen will confirm your information and preferred method of security. “Biometrics” and “Passcode" are both available options for security Once you are ready, select “Pay & Create” to move on Note: At this point and going forward, you will be prompted to authorize activity in Anchor via your preferred security method | ![]() |
Step 7 Account Created At this point, your account is created and is ready for use
However, we highly recommended that you backup your account by creating an Owner Key Certificate. If you do not backup your account, you will not be able to recover your account, in case of an emergency | ![]() |
