Banxa - How to use in Unicove

To utilize Banxa in Unicove, you will need to sign in through the Anchor app with an EOS or WAX account to purchase tokens.  Currently, EOS and WAX are the only Antelope-based tokens available. To learn more about how to create an EOS or WAX account, you can check out our guides here.

To begin, you will need to log into Unicove by clicking the Login button in the upper right corner.

If Anchor is on the same device that you are using to access Unicove, then select Launch Anchor. If Anchor is on another device, then use it to scan the QR code shown. For the purposes of this article, we'll be using Anchor Desktop on a Mac.

Once you've launched Anchor, sign the transaction to log into Unicove.

Upon login, you will be presented with your account's dashboard in Unicove. Here, you can send and receive tokens, purchase resources, and now..... purchase tokens!  Select Get Tokens from the menu to continue.

This is the launch page for the Banxa portal.  As part of the token purchasing process, you will need to complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) check that will require a few pieces of identification. The forms of ID required will be different from country to country, so be ready to provide documentation as needed.  You can rest assured that none of the information you enter during this process will be stored or accessed by Unicove.

To begin the process, click Banxa.

From this point on, Banxa's application handles the rest of the process. If you run into any issues, please reach out to their support team, who will be happy to help you. You can reach out to Banxa using the Support Request on support.banxa.com or via the “Support” button on the Banxa Home page.

Please note that since Banxa is a third-party provider, Greymass support will not be able to assist you in the purchasing of tokens. However, if you have any issues with Anchor or Unicove, we're here and ready to assist with whatever you need.
